California's Fatburger debuts Dallas-area location with new pizza twist
California's popular Fatburger chain has opened a new restaurant in the Dallas area that's a twist from the rest: It's a Fatburger that's co-branded with Round Table Pizza.
The location is now open in Bartonville, almost to Denton, at 3701 FM 407 #600.
According to a spokesperson, this is the first location that puts the burger chain and pizza chain together in one co-branded spot. Both Fatburger and Round Table Pizza are part of FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands Inc. restaurant group, along with 16 other concepts.
The Bartonville restaurant spans 3,500 square feet, with a full-service, full-bar casual dining experience, and is the first of four co-branded Fatburger and Round Table Pizza locations planned for the Dallas area by SNM Management Group.
"We are beyond thrilled to introduce our first co-branded Fatburger and Round Table Pizza concept to Dallas,' says FAT Brands chief development officer Taylor Wiederhorn. "This new restaurant will allow guests to enjoy the best of both brands in one space, creating a seamless experience that caters to a range of tastes. With the success Fatburger has seen co-branding with Buffalo's Cafe and Express, we're eager to see this new venture with Round Table Pizza flourish."
Fatburger made its Dallas-area debut in 2020 with a location in North Richland Hills, one that was co-branded with Buffalo's Express, a chain that specializes in wings. It has since opened five identical locations, all co-branded with Buffalo's Express, in Plano, Allen, Arlington, Garland, and Sanger.
Buffalo's Express is a fast-casual chicken wing chain founded in 1985 in Roswell, Georgia; the two are co-branded with more than 70 Fatburger restaurants.
Fatburger is known for "juicy" burgers. Founder Lovie Yancey was a trailblazer when it came to the idea of transforming a burger into a meal, beyond the usual lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles, by adding toppings such as bacon, eggs, chili, jalapenos, and onion rings.
In addition to burgers, Fatburger also has Fat and Skinny Fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, Impossible Burgers, turkeyburgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, and milkshakes made from real ice cream.
Round Table Pizza has separately been expanding into Texas with standalone restaurants, beginning in 2019 with locations in Frisco and Dallas near SMU. Their menu includes pizzas, salads, garlic parmesan twists, and wings.
