What: Young Friends of Wilkinson Center White Party kickoff

The 411: More than 700 people attended a Cinco de Mayo fiesta that doubled as the kickoff for the highly anticipated Young Friends of Wilkinson Center White Party. Attendees purchased Young Friend memberships and party tickets, and took part in a raffle to win a VIP table. As a thank you, guests that purchased any of these items received free margaritas and tacos during the happy hour. DJ Souljah kept the party pumpin’ with tunes that seemed to foreshadow the main event, which is always one of the most happening YP parties in town. This year the White Party takes place on June 4 at 6500 Cedar Springs, and you can buy tickets online.
Wilkinson Center started as a neighborhood food pantry in 1982 and now transforms the lives of Dallas families by providing pathways to self-sufficiency with dignity and respect.
