Cher Can't Stop the Music
Cher plans yet another farewell concert tour with Dallas stop
Even though Cher completed a farewell tour several years ago, you can't keep a good girl down. The 67-year-old singer announced on Monday that she will launch a 49-city North American tour beginning March 22 in Phoenix before heading to Texas.
The "Dressed to Kill" tour will stop at the Toyota Center in Houston on March 24 and American Airlines Center in Dallas on March 26. The singer announced the tour following her performance on the Today show.
Cher's previous tour, later dubbed "The Never Can Say Goodbye Tour," stretched for three years (2002-2005) and a record-breaking 325 concert dates. The new tour announcement coincides with the release of her latest CD, Closer to the Truth, on September 24.
Tickets, priced at $25.50-$156, will go on sale to the general public October 4. American Express card members can purchase tickets to the Houston and Dallas shows September 30 at 10 am through October 3 at 10 pm. All online ticket buyers will receive a free copy of the new CD.
